In the midst of my entire workflow falling offline, I picked back up researching my beloved Buckingham Virginia. A country place ina country state

My mama's mama's mama's mama comes from Albemarle county and the surrounding areas 

I lived in Buckingham with my Gramma, Papa, and Aunt Sis until I was 6

Always appreciated coming back on the weekends and summer breaks

Good break from Richmond

I could listen to Papa talk all day

 And as I got older, that's what I did 

They passed away a few years ago

Visited for the first time the other Saturday

Sun came out after a bit 

Made a bunch of promises to return 

drank a lot of water

Every food offered to me was fried

Gas was STILL high

My mama told me her beliefs have changed while her faith remained 

Oh, and I met Mr. and Mrs. White
